In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Ancient Society of Florists, the oldest florists' society still in existence in the world, a new festival, Bloom!, is taking place. The new four day festival, from 5-8 July, celebrating horticulture and flowers in York, will mark the milestone with events and installations right across the city.

We will be creating flowers in a range of media including recycled materials, fabric, paper and yarn. When collected together, we will create a flower wall at York Explore Libraries during the Bloom! Festival, 5th - 8th July 2018.

All materials will be provided but please bring any materials that you would specifically like to use - buttons, ribbon, etc. Refreshments are not provided but there is a cafe on site.
