Start your journey into oil painting through this 1 day course.
The course will be taught by step by step instruction, demonstration, discussion & critique. Students will receive personalised guidance from a friendly tutor, all within a supportive environment.   

Additional Information:
Please bring; A pencil, rubber, pen, synthetic brushes (sizes ½ inch flat, size 8 round, size 4 round, size 0 round), and a rag (something to wipe your brush on).
Please bring lots of newspaper, a palate, oil paint colours; titanium white (you will need more of this than any other colour), mars black, ultramarine blue, sap green, burnt umber, alizarin crimson, medium yellow and any other colours you may have.
Sansodor (this is a low odour solvent, please don’t bring turps or white spirit as this smells) if you are allergic to solvents then bring Liquin. You may require white spirit to use at home to clean your brushes thoroughly after class. A couple of small glass jam jars with lids. A few canvases or canvas boards or a book of Acrylic paper (no smaller than A4). If you are using acrylic paper then you will require a board to tape it to. An easel (if you don’t have one then something to prop your work on). An apron or old shirt. A metal palate knife. All of these items can be purchased from The Range or Hobby Craft or online.
