Think you know what romance is?  Think again! Romance novels are written by women, for women, about women, and are part of a billion-dollar industry that is powered by women. To celebrate International Women’s Day, come along and meet York authors Donna Douglas, Emma Garcia, Jessica Gilmore and Jessica Hart, who between them have written over 80 books and whose romances reach readers around the world.  They’ll be challenging some of the stereotypes about romance writing and talking instead about what romance really is, about how it works, and why it is so popular with so many millions of women.  This will be a relaxed event with an opportunity to ask questions.
